Many businesses have jumped onto the SOA bandwagon and with new technology and thinking, comes new problems that can have a negating effect compounding existing problems you were supposedly to solve. SOA might be fine for the services sector and other fields but for IT has been quite difficult for a survey by Business week has some 32 % of all companies who have jumped the bandwagon saying they are not fully meeting their set expectations. While a good 58% of all of those who implemented SOA say that they have indeed reached goals yet the high failures are quite alarming for it may need another revolution or a change of approach for the dream of a fully SOA driven business to take place.
